Lefty Fencer is a 1969 action film directed by Kimiyoshi Yasuda. The story follows the life of Okin, a swordswoman who possesses only one arm and one eye. During her childhood, Okin was disfigured by a man named Lord Daizen-dayu. This antagonist was seeking the Drenched Swallow sword, which was a prized possession belonging to Okin's family. Lord Daizen-dayu was also responsible for the death of Okin's father. As an adult, Okin has developed her skills as a swordswoman and maintains a carefree existence alongside her adopted family. Her life changes when she intervenes to save a girl from a group of yakuza. This act draws Okin into a complex conspiracy that involves government officials, religious leaders, the yakuza, and Lord Daizen-dayu. The film has a runtime of one hour and sixteen minutes and was released in Japan on June 14, 1969. The narrative centers on her quest and the consequences of her past encounters with the man who caused her family's suffering and her own physical injuries.
