Lawless Land is a 1937 American Western film directed by Albert Ray and starring Johnny Mack Brown and Louise Stanley. Originally made by Supreme Pictures in 1936, the film was released by Republic Pictures the following year on April 6, 1937. The story follows Jeff as he arrives in town to see the Sheriff, only to discover the Sheriff has just been killed by the culprit, Clay Wheeler. After Jeff becomes friendly with Letty, Clay sends his man Ortega to kill him. Jeff successfully foils the attempt and forces Ortega to confess that Clay was the killer. Aided only by old-timers Lafe and Bill, Jeff then heads out after Clay and his gang. The supporting cast includes Ted Adams and Julian Rivero.
