Law and Order: Organized Crime is an American crime drama television series that premiered on April 1, 2021, on NBC. Serving as the seventh series in the Law and Order franchise, it is a spin-off of both Law and Order and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. The series was created by Ilene Chaiken, Warren Leight, Julie Martin, Matt Olmstead, and Dick Wolf. The program stars Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler, a former Special Victims Unit detective who returns to the New York Police Department following a devastating personal loss. Stabler joins a new elite task force, the Organized Crime Control Bureau, to battle organized crime.
