Laverne and Shirley is a television sitcom that originally aired from 1976 to 1983. The series serves as a spin-off from the television program Happy Days, where the two lead characters were first introduced as acquaintances of the character Fonzie. The show follows the lives of best friends and roommates Laverne DeFazio and Shirley Feeney. As polar opposites, the two women navigate their daily lives together while working at the Shotz Brewery in Milwaukee. Cindy Williams is known for her portrayal of the character Shirley Feeney.
