The Late Show with David Letterman opens with Dave pointing out that Rob Burnett made a cameo appearance on the previous night's episode of Cosby. During the program, the editors of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue make an appearance to reveal that the majority of their photo shoot was conducted at the White House. Later in the episode, Dave welcomes guests Kelsey Grammer, Sarah McLachlan, and Cammi Granato and Sarah Tueting, the latter two appearing as representatives of the gold medal winning United States women's hockey team.
