The narrative centers on Leticia Padilla Solís, known as Lety, an intelligent woman who graduated with honors in economics. Despite her fluency in multiple languages, computer skills, and financial genius, she struggles to find employment due to her appearance. In her desperation, she accepts a position below her qualifications as a secretary at Conceptos, a prominent video production company where her physical appearance is considered a taboo. Conceptos was originally established by Don Humberto Mendiola and Julián Villaroel, though the Villaroel family faces tragedy shortly after the company's founding. The series features performances by Angélica Vale as Lety, Jaime Camil as Fernando Mendiola Saénz, and Elizabeth Álvarez as Marcia Villarroel Drummond.
