Overview
Krypton is an American science fiction television series developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler for the Syfy network. The program, which aired for two seasons between 2018 and 2019, is set on the fictional planet of the same name. The narrative takes place approximately two hundred years before the birth of the DC Comics superhero Kal-El, also known as Superman. The story focuses on the life of Seg-El, who is the grandfather of the future hero. As a member of the House of El, which has been ostracized and shamed, Seg-El must navigate a society in turmoil.
