Kirarin Revolution is a Japanese shojo manga series created by An Nakahara. The title of the series refers to the name of the debut single released by the character Kirari. The manga is published by Shogakukan in the magazine Ciao and received the 2007 Shogakukan Manga Award for children's manga. An anime adaptation of the work was produced as a coproduction between Japan and South Korea. The television series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 7, 2006, and aired in a 30-minute time slot on Fridays from 18:00 to 18:30. The show ran for a total of 153 episodes, concluding its broadcast on March 27, 2009.
