Overview
Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken! is a Japanese television series that premiered in 2020. Based on the manga series written and illustrated by Sumito Oowara, the show follows a group of high school students who collaborate to create anime. The story centers on Midori Asakusa, a first-year student who is passionate about animation and believes that the concept is the most important element of the medium. Although she fills sketchbooks with ideas, she feels unable to produce anime on her own. Her friend Sayaka Kanamori, who is described as money-loving, recognizes Asakusa's talent. They are joined by a classmate named Tsubame Mizusaki, a charismatic fashion model who aspires to be an animator. Together, the three students form an animation club with the goal of creating what they define as the ultimate world. The series explores their creative process and their shared ambition to produce the greatest anime series possible. The original manga has been serialized in the magazine Monthly Big Comic Spirits since 2016.
