The television series "K" is set in a world where a teenager's life is disrupted by a bloodthirsty clan. This clan, described as being glowing red with fire, attempts to kill the teenager in the streets. The teenager's life is further complicated when he is suspected of murdering a member of this clan. A young man named Kurou Yatogami becomes involved in the teenager's life, initially aiding him in his getaway before revealing his own intentions. The teenager is now hunted by various clans, including those of seven powerful individuals referred to as kings. He must evade these clans and try to prove his innocence in order to survive.
