Justice Pao is a Taiwanese television series that originally aired on the Chinese Television System from February 1993 to January 1994. The historical costume drama depicts the life of the Chinese official Bao Zheng during the Song Dynasty. The production features Jin Chaoqun in the lead role, alongside cast members Kenny Ho and Fan Hongxuan. Directed by Sun Shupei, the series was written by a team including Chen Wengui, Deng Yukun, and Chen Manling. Although the show was initially scheduled for a run of 15 episodes, it was expanded to a total of 236 episodes following strong viewership during its early broadcast. The program achieved significant popularity across Greater China and various nations throughout the Far East. In Hong Kong, the series was acquired by both the TVB and ATV Home networks in an effort to attract audiences. The show is recognized as a period historical wuxia drama and is adapted from literary source material.
