Jornal Nacional is a Brazilian primetime news program that has been aired by Rede Globo since its premiere on September 1, 1969. Recognized as an Emmy-winning production, the series holds the distinction of being the first news program to be broadcast live by a television network throughout Brazil. The program is widely regarded as the most respected television news program in the country. Throughout its long-running history, the show has featured various presenters, including William Bonner, Cid Moreira, Hilton Gomes, Patrícia Poeta, Fátima Bernardes, and Renata Vasconcellos. The series was created by Alice-Maria and Armando Nogueira, with Nogueira also serving as a director for the program.
