Season overview
Ink Master season two is the second season of the Spike tattooing competition series, Ink Master. The season follows sixteen tattoo artists who compete against each other in an elimination-style competition. The contestants strive to be the last person standing in order to win the title of Ink Master, a grand prize of $100,000, and a feature in Inked Magazine. The series is hosted and judged by Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro. The judging panel also includes former Miami Ink cast member Chris Núñez and accomplished tattoo artist Oliver Peck. Living canvases donate their skin to be permanently marked throughout the adrenalized competition challenges that assess the participants tattooing and related artistic skills. Following the progression of the series, the program has been renewed for a third season.
