Overview

The story follows the spaceship Prometheus, which has dropped out of orbit with its communications and life support systems down, leaving the status of the crew and an alien prisoner unknown. With orders to catch their alien prisoner alive, the surviving crew of the spaceship pursues a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with their escaped prisoner on a deserted and barren planet, raising the question of who is the hunter and who is the prey. The production has a runtime of one hour and thirty minutes and was released in the United States on July 24, 2010.
