Overview

The story follows Koschey, who is forever young and always immaculately dressed, but has been unable to find a bride for three hundred years. Despite intimidating, kidnapping, and turning various princesses into frogs, these courtships do not help the prince of darkness. Meanwhile, the beautiful hero Varvara spends her time fighting off suitors in the arena who covet her dowry. However, after taking possession of the Koshcheev needle, Tsar Peas figures out how to get to Varvara. He fails to account for the fact that although Koshchei's death is enclosed in a needle, love can still come to life. The film has a runtime of one hour and sixteen minutes and was released in Russia on June 9, 2022.
