Overview

Hope Island is an American television series that originally aired on PAX TV during the 1999-2000 season. The show was based on the popular BBC One drama Ballykissangel. The narrative follows Reverend Daniel Cooper as he arrives on Hope Island with the intention of reopening a church that has remained abandoned for several decades. Daniel seeks this quiet assignment as a means to move past a personal tragedy. Upon his arrival, he is met with skepticism from the local residents of the island.
