Overview

Hokum is a 2026 supernatural horror film written and directed by Damian McCarthy. The movie stars Adam Scott as Ohm Bauman, a novelist who travels to a remote inn in Ireland to scatter his parents' ashes. Upon his arrival, Bauman becomes aware of local legends claiming that the inn’s honeymoon suite is haunted by a witch.
