Hellbound is a South Korean television series that takes place in the years 2022-2027. The series revolves around the appearance of an otherworldly face called an angel, which delivers prophecies known as decrees. These decrees condemn certain individuals to Hell at a specific future time, either seconds or years away. When the decrees are delivered, three monstrous supernatural beings called demons appear and incinerate the person's body in a spectacular show of force called a demonstration. Two organizations, the New Truth Society and the Arrowhead group, gain power by playing on people's fears. The series is written and directed by Yeon Sang Ho.
