Headland is an Australian drama television series produced by the Seven Network. The series premiered on a Tuesday in November 2005 at 7.30pm in Australia. It was set in a university and initially aired on weekdays at the same time. The Seven Network produced 52 episodes for the first series, with production on a second series already underway before any episodes were broadcast. The series was later re-formatted as half-hour episodes for its UK broadcast on E4, airing weekdays at 7.30pm. The show's UK run on E4 was eventually discontinued. The Seven Network officially announced the cancellation of Headland in January 2006.
