Have Gun - Will Travel is an American Western television series that aired on CBS from 1957 through 1963. The series was created by Sam Rolfe and Herb Meadow and produced by several individuals including Frank Pierson and Julian Claman. It was one of the few television shows to spawn a successful radio version, which debuted in 1958. The television show was highly rated, ranking number three or number four in the Nielsen ratings every year of its first four seasons. The series consisted of 225 episodes and starred Richard Boone. The show is presently shown on the Encore-Western channel and its episodes are also available on other platforms. Have Gun - Will Travel was a popular series that captivated viewers with its stories and depiction of the Old West. The series premiered on CBS and aired in a Saturday time slot.
