Overview

Halo is an American military science fiction television series that premiered in 2022 and concluded in 2024. Developed for the streaming service Paramount+ by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, the show is based on the video game franchise originally created by Bungie and currently managed by Halo Studios, formerly known as 343 Industries. The narrative depicts an epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant. As the galaxy faces the brink of destruction, Master Chief John-117 leads a team of Spartans against these opposing forces. The series weaves together action and adventure with personal stories set within a richly imagined vision of the future. The cast includes Pablo Schreiber, Shabana Azmi, Natascha McElhone, and Natasha Culzac. Recognized as one of the most expensive shows in the history of Paramount+, the production serves as an adaptation of the iconic video game saga. Following its initial run on Paramount+, the series also became available on the streaming platform Netflix.
