A clever contrivance flashes into NAM’s mind during the closing statement. HONG is questioned again at court. BEN is exonerated from blame. HENG is mad at BEN who was declared free. TUNG points out that HENG is not as cunning as BEN. NAM apologizes to HONG. HONG asks NAM whether she will give up him if BEN does not exist. NAM does not answer. HONG asks BEN whether he still loves NAM. BEN expresses that he will give up NAM if it will hurt their relationship. NAM intends to go to Australia. AH thinks that she is a love deserter. MAN tells TUNG that HENG is investigating his company account. TUNG expresses he is forced to make the first move. HONG warns HENG not to bother TSUI.
