The story is set in a country known as Marchenland where fairy tales mingle together, which becomes invaded by the Evil Emperor Pierrot, who seals away the Queen. To revive the Queen, tokens of happiness known as the Cure Decor must be gathered. A fairy from Marchenland named Candy travels to Earth to search for the next Pretty Cures, following a shining light that leads to five legendary PreCures. On Earth, Candy meets Hoshizora Miyuki, and the two of them decide to gather the Cure Decor together.
