Overview

Gangs of London is a British action crime drama television series created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery. The show, which is based on the London Studio video game of the same name and serves as a spinoff of The Getaway franchise, focuses on the landscape of organized crime in London. The narrative explores the business relationships and conflicts occurring between various international gangs and other groups operating within the city. The story begins when Finn Wallace, the head of a criminal organization, is assassinated. His death creates a sudden power vacuum that threatens the fragile peace maintained between the intricate web of gangs in the city. Following this event, the grieving, volatile, and impulsive Sean Wallace must attempt to restore control and identify those responsible for his father’s death. The series premiered on 23 April 2020 on Sky Atlantic, with all episodes of the first season made available on demand. The cast includes Michelle Fairley, Sope Dirisu, Lucian Msamati, and Brian Vernel.
