Fuego amigo 2026

Overview

Fuego amigo is a film directed by Alejandro Magnone that is scheduled for release in Argentina on November 6, 2026. The film centers on Andrés, a veteran of the Malvinas War who works at his family transportation company. The narrative follows Andrés after he receives news that the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team has identified the remains of his friend Damián, who died in battle. Following this development, Andrés begins smoking again as a delegation is organized to travel to the Islands to attend the ceremony. An old pang of guilt torments Andrés because when Damián fell, he was a few meters behind him and firing his weapon. Although Andrés always knew it was not him, the specter of friendly fire casts a shadow over his memory. The runtime of the film is one hour and twenty-eight minutes.
