Overview

Fruits Basket is a television anime series that serves as a reboot adaptation of the manga series written by Natsuki Takaya. Tohru soon learns that the family harbors a secret: twelve members of the clan transform involuntarily into animals of the Chinese zodiac when hugged by the opposite sex. As she integrates into their lives, Tohru helps the family members navigate the emotional pain caused by these transformations.
