Synopsis
When Rachel finds out that Ross is bringing a date to the premiere of Joey's big play, she finds one of her own. Ross alone concludes that her date is insane. Poor Phoebe is on hold for days with a company she needs to talk to before her phone warranty expires. Meanwhile, Joey's play gets terrible reviews, but his co-star provides some comfort.

In this episode of Friends, Rachel finds out that Ross is bringing a date to the premiere of Joey's play. In response, she decides to bring a date of her own. Ross, however, concludes that Rachel's date is not a suitable match for her.
Meanwhile, Phoebe is on hold for an extended period of time with a company she needs to contact in order to resolve an issue with her phone warranty. Her efforts to reach the company are unsuccessful, leaving her in a frustrating situation.
Joey's play receives negative reviews, but he finds some comfort in the words of his co-star. Despite the criticism, Joey's co-star offers support and helps to alleviate his disappointment.
