Synopsis: Ryou and Souma have started dating after revealing their feelings. They were in "lovey dovey days" feeling connected. Ryou's ex-boyfriend Rei comes to where they work. This reminds them of school days when feelings grew apart. Ryou wants to avoid involvement but ends up teaming up with Rei.
Source 1: Mentions Ryou Fujihashi is an office worker trapped in a fire (this seems to be a general overview of the series/movie, not specifically Season 2, but provides context).
Source 2: Title translation.
Overview:
Following the events of the first season, Ryou and Souma have officially begun dating after expressing their mutual feelings for one another. During a period of romantic connection where they believed their hearts and bodies were deeply linked, Ryou's former boyfriend, Rei, arrives at their place of employment. This encounter forces the trio to confront memories from their school days, a time when their emotional connections began to diverge. Although Ryou initially expresses a desire to avoid any complications or involvement with her past, the situation evolves such that he eventually finds himself teaming up with Rei. The season explores the tension brought about by this reunion and the resurfacing of past dynamics between the characters as they navigate their current relationship.
