Overview
Fangs of Fortune is a 2024 television series set during the Zhenyuan era. The story begins following the accidental death of the Bai Ze goddess, a figure who previously governed both the human and demon realms. This event triggers widespread chaos as various demon beasts begin to run rampant. In response to the instability, the demon leader Zhu Yan adopts the disguise of Zhao Yuanzhou and proposes the creation of a demon-hunting bureau to help restore order. Wen Xiao remains suspicious of Zhao Yuanzhou but chooses to join the bureau alongside her childhood friend Zhuo Yichen. They are joined by the skilled archer Pei Sijing and a talented but timid doctor named Bai Jiu. As a team, these individuals work to confront various creatures derived from The Classic of Mountains and Seas. Through their collective efforts, the group attempts to navigate the ongoing crisis while uncovering the darker truths hidden behind the chaos that has consumed the realms.
