Season overview

In the second season of Dungeon Masters, the magical agents of the Order of the Ninth Quill are hurled into the lethal expanse of the Anauroch Desert, a shattered wasteland that still radiates the catastrophic magic of Netheril’s fall. A fragile and shimmering barrier is all that currently stands between Faerûn and the arcane horrors buried beneath the dunes, but this safeguard is failing. While enduring a journey where the desert itself seems intent on killing them, the ragtag team must undergo learning on the job while facing multiple threats. On one hand, they must contend with the fanatical Bringers of the Cosmic Dawn, who actively seek to tear the barrier down in pursuit of their own vision. On the other hand, they face the Red Wizards of Thay, who maneuver in the shadows with a hunger to seize the arcane power trapped behind the walls of the failing barrier.
