Dimension 20: Mice & Murder

Season overview

Dimension 20 is an anthology series produced by and broadcast on the platform Dropout. Created by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the show features a format where the setting and cast change between seasons, with most games utilizing the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition ruleset. In this specific side quest installment of the series, the narrative follows a group of critters who find themselves caught up in the investigation of a murder. The central conflict arises when this crime occurs during a party that the characters are attending. As the story unfolds, the group must navigate the circumstances of the event to solve the mystery. The program blends comedy with tabletop role-playing games, a hallmark of the series overseen by Mulligan, who serves as the regular Dungeon Master. The production brings together comedians and professional gamers to participate in these improvised adventures. This season maintains the show's established structure of episodic storytelling within a rotating anthology framework, focusing on the specific interactions and problem-solving efforts of the critter protagonists as they address the sudden and unexpected death that disrupts their social gathering.
