Diagnosis Murder is an American mystery medical crime drama television series. The show stars Dick Van Dyke as Dr. Mark Sloan, a medical doctor who solves crimes. Dr. Mark Sloan is a good-natured, offbeat physician who is called upon to solve murders. He is aided in his crime-solving efforts by his son Steve, a homicide detective played by Barry Van Dyke, who is Dick Van Dyke's real-life son. The series was created by Joyce Burditt and features a cast that includes Victoria Rowell and Charlie Schlatter. The show has been made available to stream online through various platforms. Diagnosis Murder has a total of eight seasons, airing from 1993 to 2001. The series has been directed by several individuals, including Christian I. Nyby II.
