Detective School Q is a television series that aired from 2003 to 2004. Created by Shin Kibayashi and Fumiya Satô, the show follows a young and enthusiastic student who aspires to become a detective. The narrative begins in a middle school classroom where the main character, Kyu, expresses his career goal to a guidance counselor. To pursue this ambition, he takes an entrance exam for the Dan Detective School, an institution where talented individuals from across the country gather. Kyu successfully gains entry into the specialized Q Class, which is personally instructed by the school founder and legendary detective, Dan Morihiko. Throughout his time at the school, Kyu meets several talented peers, including Minami Megumi, who possesses a photographic memory, and Touyama Kintarou, a descendant of Kin-san from Touyama. As the group navigates their studies, they encounter various mysteries and challenges.
