Adil, who tells Volkov he will marry his daughter to save her, secretly devises a much bigger plan, defeating Timur Volkov and gaining a formidable enemy. However, this also allows him to learn his daughter's whereabouts. Esme, wanting to go to Şerif to prevent her daughter's death and finding Adil's plan to rescue Eleni too risky, confronts Adil. Esme wins the fight between the two angry lovers. However, Adil is shot just as he is about to board the same boat.
