Dark Mirror 1984

Overview

Dark Mirror is a thriller, drama, and television movie that was released in the United States on March 5, 1984. The film has a run time of one hour and thirty-four minutes. The story follows the aftermath of the murder of attorney Frank Girard. Detective Al Church suspects that Ms. Leigh Cullen is the perpetrator because she was supposedly last seen with the man. However, the situation becomes puzzling when Leigh's alleged twin sister, Tracy, appears at the police line-up alongside Leigh, leaving Church without a specific suspect to pinpoint. To resolve this, Church asks psychiatrist Dr. Jim Eiseley, an acquaintance of Leigh, to evaluate the sisters and run tests on them in order to filter out the murderer. The case is further complicated as Dr. Eiseley's increasing involvement with Leigh unfolds while Tracy is also in the picture. The production was broadcast on ABC and reviewed by the New York Times in March 1984.
