Da Capo is a television series that originally aired in 2003. The story is set on the crescent-shaped island of Hatsune Jima, a location characterized by cherry blossoms that bloom throughout the year. According to local lore, these unwithering trees are capable of granting genuine wishes. The island is also known for its residents who possess various mysterious powers and supernatural attributes. The narrative centers on Junichi Asakura, who lives with his adoptive sister, Nemu. Junichi possesses the unique ability to see the dreams of other people and was taught by his grandmother how to magically create sweets. The plot develops following the unexpected return of Junichi’s childhood friend and cousin, Sakura Yoshino, who moved away six years prior. Upon her arrival from America, it is noted that she appears exactly as she did before her departure, showing no signs of aging. The series features voice acting contributions from Yoshimitsu Shimoyama, Daisuke Ono, Yui Horie, and Yukari Tamura.
