Overview

Crawl is a 2019 film that follows a woman caught in the path of a major hurricane in Florida. The narrative begins when the protagonist, Haley, chooses to ignore official evacuation orders to search for her father during the severe weather event. Upon arriving at her hometown, she discovers that her father is badly wounded. As the storm intensifies and floodwaters rise, the two become trapped together in the rising water. Their situation becomes increasingly dire as they realize that the environmental conditions are not the only threat they face. With very little time remaining to secure an escape from the storm, they must contend with additional dangers lurking within the floodwaters.
