Synopsis
Elsie believes Dennis is innocent. He remembers that Ena was in the pub at the same time. Ena confirms Dennis didn't go near the till, and tells Annie so. Elsie tells Annie the Tanners are withdrawing their custom from the Rovers. Albert takes to his bed with flu and is nursed by Minnie. Annie discovers both Florrie and Len were on their own in the Rovers when the money went missing. Elsie shocks the Walkers by refusing to go to the Rovers when Linda phones her there from Canada.

In this episode of Coronation Street, Elsie firmly believes that Dennis is innocent regarding the missing money. Dennis remembers that Ena was in the pub at the same time the incident occurred, and Ena subsequently confirms that Dennis did not go near the till, informing Annie of this fact. Following these events, Elsie tells Annie that the Tanners are withdrawing their custom from the Rovers.
Meanwhile, Albert takes to his bed with flu and is nursed by Minnie. Annie investigates the situation further and discovers that both Florrie and Len were on their own in the Rovers when the money went missing. Later, a phone call comes in for Elsie from Linda in Canada, but Elsie shocks the Walkers by refusing to go to the Rovers to take the call.
