Episode recap

In this episode of Coronation Street, Frank rows with Ken because Ken did not tell him that he had given up his job. Frank also refuses to let Dennis get him a job. Ken tells Frank that he is not prepared to listen to him calling him idle anymore and declares that he would do any job to pay his way. Meanwhile, Minnie buys a see-through nightie from Swindley. Word soon spreads that Ken asked Dennis for a job, which leaves Elsie amused. Elsewhere, Christine returns from an Adam Faith concert and meets Ken at the station coffee room. Ken tells her that he is leaving for London, but Christine makes him realise that he is running away from himself, prompting him to return home.
