Episode recap

In this episode of Coronation Street, Nancy Leathers receives word from the Council that an old age pensioner bungalow is available for her. Meanwhile, Frank grows worried when Ida is late returning home from visiting Beattie. Ken calls on Beattie Pearson and discovers that Ida has not been there at all.

Elsewhere, Dennis is summoned to Lenny Phillips' office. Lenny tells Dennis that he is not at all talented, but nevertheless wants him to work for him in the capacity of a talent scout.

Back regarding the concerns over Ida, Frank contacts the police. The authorities realize that Ida's description matches that of a woman who was knocked down in Gray Street and is dead. The police then arrive in the street to deliver the news to Frank.
