Synopsis
Florrie is caught by the police selling firelighters after seven. Christine is annoyed that Ena is telling everyone that May has gone mad and breaks down. Kids scratch Susan's Dad's car. Ida embarrasses Ken by showing Susan his baby photos. Ivan turns up at the Rovers. Esther takes charge of Christine. Susan embarrases Ken by going into the Rovers. Linda bumps into Ivan.

In this episode of Coronation Street, Florrie finds herself caught by the police while selling firelighters after seven o'clock. Tensions rise elsewhere as Christine grows annoyed because Ena is telling everyone that May has gone mad, leading Christine to break down in tears. Esther steps in to take charge of Christine during this difficult moment. Meanwhile, children cause trouble on the street by scratching the car belonging to Susan's father.
Social embarrassment touches Ken on multiple fronts. First, Ida embarrasses him by showing Susan his baby photos. Later, Susan causes further embarrassment for Ken by going inside the Rovers. Also at the Rovers, Ivan makes an appearance and has a chance encounter when Linda bumps into him.
