Corny Concerto is a 1962 animated comedy short film from the United States. While watching Champ work out with a punching bag, Doc accidentally drops a hammer on Champ's toe. This accident causes Champ to howl and hop about in a crazy beatnik dance while holding his foot. A beatnik coffee house owner witnesses this and becomes impressed, subsequently signing them up to entertain at his swinging club. Doc then stages concerts for the talented but pain-ridden pooch. Doc rehearses Champ at the piano with great success, causing several teenage cats to swoon. Opening night at the Hungry Me pad is also a great success, with their act creating enthusiastic finger-snapping by the beatniks. Ultimately, the two become famous as Champ performs a great beat.
