Overview
Castle is an American crime mystery comedy-drama television series that aired on ABC. The series was produced by Beacon Pictures and ABC Studios and was created by Andrew W. Marlowe. The show primarily traces the lives of Richard Castle, a best-selling author, and his interactions with an NYPD homicide investigation team. After a serial killer imitates the plots of his novels, Richard Castle receives permission from the Mayor of New York City to tag along with the team for research purposes. He teams up with NYPD Detective Kate Beckett to solve complex murder cases. The series stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle and Stana Katic as Kate Beckett, along with other cast members including Susan Sullivan and Jon Huertas. Castle aired for a total of eight seasons.
