The story involves great bloodthirsty dinosaurs that are driven to extinction before coming back to life with the assistance of a demented genetic scientist. This scientist plans to replace the human race with a super-race of dinosaurs who will not pollute the planet. In the course of the events, a genetically manipulated and very hungry dinosaur escapes from a bioengineering company to wreak havoc on a local desert town, prompting a security guard and a girl environmentalist to try to stop it.
