Season overview

Canada's Worst Driver 4 is the fourth season of the Discovery Channel Canada television series focused on improving the driving abilities of eight nominated contestants. Each participant is nominated by a loved one and brought to the Driver Rehabilitation Centre, which is located at an abandoned correctional facility in Guelph, Ontario, for this season. Throughout the series, contestants are taught essential driving skills and tested through various challenges, with three challenges occurring per episode. Host Andrew Younghusband demonstrates each challenge beforehand to show that an average driver can complete them without error. The season begins with a skills evaluation where contestants must drive to the rehabilitation centre from a location one hour away. Following the initial evaluation and starting from the second episode, experts and Andrew Younghusband evaluate the remaining contestants to determine who has been sufficiently rehabilitated to return to public roads. While typically one contestant leaves each episode, the experts have the discretion to graduate multiple people, refuse to graduate anyone, or expel a contestant in extreme circumstances. The process continues until three contestants remain, at which point two traditional final challenges determine who is named Canada's Worst Driver.
