Overview
Camelot is a television series centered on the power struggle that ensues following the sudden death of King Uther. The unexpected passing of the monarch leaves Britain in a state of chaos, prompting the sorcerer Merlin to intervene. Merlin experiences visions of a dark future and decides to install Arthur, the king's previously unknown son who was raised as a commoner, as the new ruler. Arthur and Merlin establish their base at Castle Camelot alongside a group of allies, including Arthur's biological mother, his foster brother, and four loyal warriors. From this location, the young king attempts to construct a better version of Britain defined by peace. However, his efforts are challenged by his cold half-sister, Morgan. Having been banished by Uther, Morgan actively plots to seize the crown from Arthur. The narrative follows the tension between Arthur's idealistic vision for the kingdom and the persistent efforts of his sibling to usurp his position as the rightful heir to the throne.
