Synopsis
A man named Bakul is found dead in his farmhouse. The witness sees Arnav, his best friend with blood-stained clothes, escaping. However, he proves his innocence. CID get proofs against a woman, but Dr. Salunkhe is convinced it was a man.

In season one, episode nine hundred twelve of C.I.D., titled Nakli Chehra: Part 1, the bureau investigates the murder of a man named Bakul, whose body is discovered in his farmhouse. A witness at the scene reports seeing Arnav, the victim's best friend, fleeing the area wearing blood-stained clothes. Although this initial sighting points directly toward Arnav, he successfully proves his innocence to the team. As the investigation continues, the C.I.D. officers uncover physical evidence implicating a woman in the crime. Despite the newly found proofs against the female suspect, Dr. Salunkhe remains firmly convinced that the perpetrator was actually a man.
