In season one, episode six hundred eighty of C.I.D., titled Raaz Khoon Peene Wale Qatil Ka, a man wakes up to a shocking discovery when he finds his mouth and teeth covered in blood, with no memory of the events of the previous night. Simultaneously, on the other side of the city, the C.I.D. team discovers a dead body that appears to have been attacked by a wild animal. Upon hearing about this killing and fearing that he might be the culprit, the man ties himself inside his room before falling asleep to prevent any potential actions. However, he later wakes up to find the ropes torn and learns the news of yet another killing. As the C.I.D. officers pursue their investigation, they are placed on his trail, leaving the central question of whether he is innocent or guilty to be resolved as the C.I.D. solves the case.
