Synopsis
CID gets an anonymous letter challenging them from stopping a murder. The time and the location of the murder are given in a code sent in the letter. CID solves the code and reaches the place but the murder has already happened. The taunting letters continue coming till CID finds a man who could possibly be the killer but the odds are not in their favour. Will CID find the killer?

In season one, episode five hundred and fifty-six of C.I.D., titled Mystery Code Murders, the team receives an anonymous letter that challenges them to prevent a murder. The time and location of the planned crime are provided within the letter in the form of a code. Although C.I.D. successfully solves the code and arrives at the specified location, they find that the murder has already taken place. As the investigation continues, the taunting letters keep arriving for the team. Eventually, C.I.D. manages to locate a man who is a possible suspect for the killer, but the odds are not in their favour as they work to determine if they will ultimately find the killer.
