S1·E554 Hot Water Murders
Synopsis
CID comes across two murders of Ujjwal and Monica that are connected to each other. Both Ujjwal and Monica were linked to a dead businessman Deven who had died in a water accident some time ago. Cops feel somebody is taking revenge on Deven's behalf and suspect his caretaker Aditi and his ex-wife Rewa. CID zeroes on to Rewa and she is almost arrested. But they soon realize that the person behind these murders is somebody they never thought of.

In season one, episode five hundred fifty-four of C.I.D., titled Hot Water Murders, the team investigates the murders of Ujjwal and Monica, discovering that the two deaths are connected. Both victims were previously linked to a businessman named Deven, who had died some time ago in a water accident. Following these discoveries, the police suspect that someone is carrying out revenge on behalf of Deven. Their initial suspicions focus on Aditi, who served as Deven's caretaker, and Rewa, Deven's ex-wife. As the investigation progresses, the bureau zeroes in on Rewa and she is nearly placed under arrest. However, the officers soon realize that the true culprit behind the murders is someone they never expected.
